My name's Josh. I grew up in the Madison area, went away for college and various other travels but ended up back here just in time to get involved with Madison BCycle. When I'm not working, I'm most likely making music. I play drums mostly but get into guitar and keyboards as well.

     Since April of 2011

The wide variety of tasks really keeps each day interesting.

Live music, especially open mic nights

     Los Gemelos!

What is your favorite BCycle memory?
Taking a customer call from G Love (of G Love and the Special Sauce), and ending up with free tickets to his show that night.

    Tell us about yourself.
My name is Dan Coppola. I grew up in Monona and went to the University of Wisconsin. My wife and I moved back to Madison in 2014, and I recently opened Cafe Domestique, a bicycle cafe on Willy Street. I've been in the bicycle industry since I was in high school, working as a mechanic in bike shops, managing cycling events, wrenching professionally for USA Cycling and at USA Paralympic training camps, and working for Trek Travel. Cafe Domestique is a culmination of all of those years I've spent in the bike industry and traveling. We're excited to give cyclists in Madison a place to meet, drink a great cup of coffee and socialize.
Why do you recommend bike sharing?
Even as someone who owns a lot of bicycles, there are situations when having the opportunity to drop off at a different location than your pick up makes a lot of sense. We also use BCycle when we've got friends in town and need a few extra bikes to show them our city.

What is your favorite BCycle Memory?
My favorite BCycle memory is actually from a long layover in Denver when my connecting flight was delayed. The Denver airport was not a place I wanted to spend my day, so I took the light rail into downtown Denver, checked out a BCycle, and cruised around for a couple of hours. What could have turned into a 7 hours of misery at the airport turned into a pretty great afternoon of riding bikes, drinking coffee and catching up with friends.
