    Please note that select stations in the Madison BCycle Network will be removed for winter closure, starting next week. See details, below.

    Bottom line:
    1) It is that time of year to look at alternate modes for your daily trips. Please plan ahead, and have backup options.
    2) For real-time updates, stay tuned to Facebook & Twitter for the very latest status updates on operations.

    Between Mon 12/7 and Wed 12/9, these stations will be removed from operation:

    Olbrich 
    Sheraton
    Madison College

    Between Wed 12/9 and Fri 12/11, these stations will be removed from operation:
    Memorial Union
    Lake & Langdon
    Hawthorne Court
    Wisconsin & E. Mifflin

    By Monday December 14th, we will begin winterization of other stations in the system, and begin warehousing bikes.

    MMoCa Nights: Ellen Lanyon Opening Reception
    Cost: $10 for non MMoCa members

    "MMoCA wants you to enjoy the new exhibits at MMoCA Nights! The first Friday in December, MMoCA wants you to explore an exhibition of prints and paintings by magical realist artist Ellen Lanyon. A number of these works are recent additions to MMoCA's permanent collection. The Charles Walker Band will perform live, offering listeners a fusion of funk, R&B and Motown music. Hors d’oeuvres from Fresco will be passed and cocktails will be available at a cash bar. MMoCA curator Richard H. Axsom will offer a gallery talk on Lanyon’s work at 6:30 pm. MMoCA Nights are held in conjunction with exhibition openings, film screenings, and other special events. The evenings feature live music, complimentary seasonal hors d’oeuvres from Fresco, a cash bar, and engaging visual art programs. The evenings are free for MMoCA members/$10 for non-members. MMoCA Nights are sponsored by Newcomb Construction Company and The Alexander Company with additional support from Fresco and media support from Isthmus."

    Madison Symphony Orchestra: A Madison Symphony Christmas

    "John DeMain and the Symphony don their Santa hats for this signature Christmas celebration. This concert is filled with traditions, from caroling in the lobby with the Madison Symphony Chorus (be sure to come an hour early!) to performances by hundreds of members of Madison's musical community. The culminating sing-along is Madison's unofficial start of the holiday season."

    "Members of the Wisconsin Garden Railway Society come from all over the state to show off their large-scale model trains during Olbrich's Holiday Express. You'll see different trains, depending on the day. Elaborate models of space cruisers, pirate ships, Victorian homes and more take up residence along the tracks in an exciting display of engineering and imagination."

    Mad Rollin' Dolls Roller Derby

    "Come watch the Dolls roll out season 12! It’s a sport that combines adrenaline and estrogen, mascara and mayhem, sass and strength. Roller derby is a full-contact game on a flat, oval track with two teams facing off to see who can score the most points. Come and cheer on the four teams of the Mad Rollin' Dolls league - Quad Squad, Reservoir Dolls, Unholy Rollers, and Vaudeville Vixens."
