    GLEAM: Art In A New Light

    “This fall, Olbrich Botanical Gardens unveils GLEAM, Art in a New Light, a cutting-edge
    exhibition featuring site-specific art and light installations in the outdoor gardens. Local artists and professional lighting designers will collaborate to create sculptural art, featuring light as a major component in each installation. GLEAM will be viewable daily, during regular public daytime hours in September and October. When the sun sets, the Gardens will open for extended viewing hours and art installations will be illuminated, inviting visitors to see the Gardens in a whole new light.”

    “Come walk the Haunted Trail... if you dare! Are you brave enough? Join us for an evening of thrills, chills and wilderness! Things get spooky from 7:00pm until 10:00pm *Trail hours after 6 pm are not recommended for kids under 12 but up to parental discretion. Enjoy a free cup of apple cider! There will also be a bake sale with all kinds of goodies including fresh popcorn.”

    UW American Red Cross Club Halloween 5k
    Cost: Only $5 registration fee OR donation of two non-perishable food items!

    “The UW American Red Cross Club will be holding a Halloween 5k to raise money for international Red Cross causes. The running course will be from Brittingham Park to Menona Terrace and back.
