Madison B-cycle Memberships now valid in Denver and Boulder

"B-connected" initiative aims at growing B-cycle membership network through reciprocity

(Madison, WI) - Starting September 10th, B-cycle, one of the nation’s leading providers of bike sharing systems, will add another city to their B-connected reciprocity initiative, empowering Madison B-cycle annual members traveling to Denver or Boulder to use their membership to check out bikes in either city just as they do in their home city. Denver and Boulder B-cycle annual members will have the same privileges when traveling to Madison, with visiting users paying the usage fee rates of the local program.

B-cycle launched the B-connected functionality as a pilot program betwen the Denver and Boulder systems in March of 2012. Member feedback during the pilot proved enthusiastic with the added benefit to existing and new annual memberships. B-cycle plans to continue to roll out B-connected to their various systems across the U.S., empowering users to experience cities by bike versus by car, even when traveling.

Annual memberships can be purchased online at the individual B-cycle city websites accessed through the national site at www.bcycle.com. Since the B-cycle program began in April 2010, B-cycle members have taken over 648,750 bike trips, traveling over 1,381,844 miles, saving more than 100,547 gallons of gas, burning some 41,455,125 calories to lose more than 11,844 pounds! B-cycle hopes to increase these numbers at an even higher rate as B-connected continues to span more of its systems.

he would fix the state aid funding folmrua. The lack of any meaningful state aid to the suburban districts, while we pay the lion's share of the income tax (which is DEDICATED to Property Tax Reduction), means that the governor's budget policies have a HUGE impact on our property taxes. His new plan, which is Abbott warmed over, will have no appreciable impact on the aid any district in Morris County receives.Another Promise Made, Another Promise Broken. So, we've lost our rebates, and we've seen no appreciable increase in state aid, ergo, Corzine has screwed us on Property Taxes. And your line The only impact the state can have is to takeover tasks performed by local governments. This, of course would force the state to raise income tax. Thus setting a Democrats raise taxes rant. is completely wrong.

Money Matters My vote doesn't. I want to choose where MY tax dllraos go!!! Not congress. I want congress to ADMINISTRATE my wishes. Education, clean technology development, wellness programs for all, vocational development, etc. I do not want to pay for war or corruption! Those that do, can. A step toward a REAL democracy! Get the money out of the hands of the politicians and put it back in the hands of the people!

she was a great American, she was working 3 jobs and said she harldy ever saw her children, that isn't the American Dream. Also if he had 3 jobs that is 2 jobs too many. On top of that we don't even have 3 jobs available for everyone wanting to go to school. I am not proud of the fact people need 3 jobs to make a living, I am sure none of those 3 jobs were union jobs either.

As a single dad of a daeuhtgr with a severe disability of Cerebral palsy I've learned how to be aan advocate, and a political activist. I have beat Chase bank on my own with diligent paper work and using my congressman Sam Farr to support no more foreclosure from banks. I'm a leader in Seiu Ultcw monterey county CA. Now with MoveOn.org the American dream can become a reality. Thanks Van Jones for listening to me and start makeing our Banks and politicians accountable for there actions.

Many people silmpy do not have the spare cash to travel anywhere right now. If our side had the support of someone (or someones) with money (like the Koch brothers help the tea partiers, paying for buses, meals, beds, signs, printed out talking points even, etc.,) I bet we could make a statement that would dwarf theirs. I would bring a vanload of people to meet a bus traveling along I-70 that would take us to DC to help show our solidarity .if I had the money or someone who would provide the monetary support to make that possible. WalMart lets people park in their lots for extended periods. Those would make terrific meeting places. Hey, I can have a dream too .right?
